I may be the only one excited by the Beatles catalog being remastered for released on 9/9/2009. I have been listening to these cd's from 1987, and I have to say they are the most horrid sounding releases. Actually, I didn't realize how bad these remasters from 1987 were until I heard the newer Beatles Anthology, which sounds great. I have been waiting for a re-release of the catalog ever since.

Why do the 1987 masters sound so bad? Back in 1987 digital remastering was in in infancy, and technology has came a long way since. The digital converters back then were turds!

Even though I have all of the 1987 remastered CDs, I will be getting all the of new remasters. My birthday is the day before, so I will happily take all the cd's you want to buy me. Mono and Stereo versions!
